PaySecure Direct

PaySecure Direct provides a programmable SSL based interface into the PaySecure Payments Gateway. The PaySecure Direct API provides the ability to perform credit card purchases and refunds and direct credit and debit money transfers.

The API command set provides the capabilities required for a full-service electronic payment adaptor for a range of applications including e-commerce websites, back-office accounting systems, call centre payments processing and phone based payments.

The simplicity of the interface provides a fast development cycle for system integrators. CommSecure provides a 24x7 testing environment to enable rapid development and testing of new merchant payment systems.

PROCESS FLOW

1. Merchant systems collect payment details and transmit payment request to PaySecure payments gateway via SSL.
2. Upon receipt of payments request, PaySecure will process request by directing message to the appropriate bank
3. For credit card requests, Bank response is returned in real-time to Merchant system via PaySecure. For direct debit/credit* requests, PaySecure will provide receipt acknowledgement to Merchant system. (*direct debit is an overnight bank process)

With PaySecure Direct, it is the merchants’ responsibility for the collection and submission of payment and banking details to the PaySecure gateway.
